My poppy is on my sideboard at home. My grandad fixed Lancaster bombers during the Second World War, but I mainly remember the bravery of the men, women and animals who fought and lost their lives. I am an art teacher and I did a project with year 7 where they all made a paper poppy with a message and displayed them all together, just like at the tower 🙂
