I am a Royal Air Force Veteran of 27 years Service, and during my time, I was deployed to the South Atlantic during the Falklands war, supported operations in Bosnia, and was also deployed to Kosovo. My parents were both Veterans and my sons are Serving in the Royal Navy.
The sacrifices made by the many who died during WW1 greatly overshadow, in numbers, the wars and conflicts since 1914-1918, but sacrifices still continue today by those grave men and women who stand between us and our enemies. I am forever grateful, and humbled, by those sacrifices and keep the eternal memory alive by doing what I can today. As a member of the Royal Britìsh Riders Branch I help to keep those who served in the minds of people today as I believe that Lest We Forget is more than a strap line, it is a truth. I am proud of my Service, and prouder still of my forefathers who served and sacrificed so we enjoy our freedom today.
